Prayer for Healing by Turning Point
Loving Father, thank you for the life that you have given me. I ask pardon for the ill treatment I have done to my life and those of others. I beg of You now, My God, to heal and restore my life. Cast out anything that should not be in me and mend everything that is broken in my body, in my mind, and in my soul. My God, grant me a contrite heart—a heart that does not find joy in wrongdoing but longs for everything that is good; a heart so brave as to perseveringly combat all that is opposed to truth, goodness, and beauty; a heart that loves You above all, and loves my neighbor according to Your Most Holy Will.
O God, send forth your Spirit that I may be set free totally from the bondage of addiction, from the bondage of ill behavior, from the bondage of all my abusive and disordered attachments. Lead and guide me, O Lord, continuously to the right path and never permit me to return to things, places, persons, habits and attitudes that will endanger my good resolutions. All these I ask through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, all the Angels and Saints, in the Name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. Amen.
